The hardest part about being a parent is deciding what is right for them. It's not always easy or what we might pick to be right for ourselves but we have to make those decisions. Even harder is when it's a major decision such as a medical one. Who do you trust? Yourself? The doctors (since they are supposed to know what's best)? A teacher wanted us to have our son tested for ADD when he was in first grade. We knew right away the she was WAY off the mark. He showed no signs of having ADD or ADHD. In fact, what it came down to was that he was (is) a very intelligent child and was just plain bored with what he was being "taught". So, trust your own instincts. Who knows your kid better than you?
