Mario World

My husband broke out the ancient super nintendo the other day. We have a ton of games and picked several to re-visit. Our favorite is Mario World (or maybe it's Super Mario World). We beat the game at one point over a decade ago. No, I'm not bragging. The kids get a kick out of it too and it's a good way for us to spend time together.

I'm all for games that boost creativity but kids need to learn how to lose and lose with grace. Our youngest would cry every time she lost a game (which isn't very often since she always seems to win). She had to learn that if she was going to be a sore loser that we wouldn't play with her anymore. She's a lot better about losing now.
