Using Photo Sites for Scrapbooking

I have found photo sites to be very handy when scrapbooking our vacations. Often I will by postcards during our trip to use instead of my own photographs - let's face it - they hire professionals to get the perfect shot that I will never get. Well worth .25 - especially for those impossible night shots. When finishing our scrapbook for Disney World, I realized that we had done a lot that I didn't or couldn't get pictures for. That's where the photo sites came in. Search for whatever you are looking for and you will find a pic for it. I copied and pasted into my photo file, put on memory card and printed out at the local store. I was thrilled with the results. Give it a whirl, I think you'll become an addict. :o)

Tulip Festival

I am SO jealous.  We've been in Michigan now for 11 years and I still haven't been to Holland to see the tulips.  :o(  Your pictures are amazing - the colors are great.  Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful Ocean Pic

It is always nice to see pics of the Earth that you normally can't imagine.  These beautiful ocean pics are great because they are far enough away and yet close up enough to get a real "wow" feeling.

Not just you

Just wanted to let you know that you're not alone. I just had a similar experience just before Thanksgiving. Rear-ended and left without a vehicle just before our trip. Of course we weren't on our way out of the country, just up North. Stayed home and ended up having a wonderful time anyway. Have fun in London!

I agree with you totally. Although I am not against SUV's and actually like the look of a couple of them, I LOVE my mini van. I've had it for almost 7 years and it is still in great condition. I dread the day I have to find another one. The only gripe I've had is the lack of space in the back end for groceries and stuff (without moving the 3rd row). Nearly perfect is good enough for me.

There is always a silver lining - although at times it may be tarnished. Great how this dad was able to find humor within a negative situation. Congrats on the PSAT's. We just got our son's ACT scores - all is well!!

I am so jealous! Warm and sunny would be great about now. It's about 15* here today. Also, with a husband who works via the internet, I totally understand what she means by keeping the internet cafe a secret. She may never see him again if he finds it. :o)
